The Essential Navigation and Seamanship Course is a fully online course for anyone interested in sailing, motor boating, sea angling or diving - or pretty much anything else on the water! This course will give you the essential knowledge needed when you’re afloat, from navigation to safety and seamanship to passage planning.

To complete the qualification there are 11 modules, these can be completed at your leisure and if you have a problem or question at any stage you will have access to your own RYA Yachtmaster Instructor who will be available to assist you.

Accessing the online course is simple! All you need to do is contact us and we will provide you with Urban Truant's enrolment code for the Essential Navigation and Seamanship course.
You then log on to the RYA Interactive website and select Urban Truant as your training centre, enter the 4 digit enrolment code and you are up and running!
We will also send out the course pack with training charts and almanac to help you get hands on experience.
